Karen Bowen:

With 25 years experience in editorial, commercial and bridal makeup, Karen is one of the makeup industry's premier professionals. She has transformed many faces including Lorraine Kelly, Carol Smillie, Fiona Phillips, Amanda Lamb and Gail Porter. Her work has appeared in editorials such as Hair and Beauty, Hair magazine, Top Sante, Woman, Chic Magazine, Spectrum for Scotland on Sunday, The Pulse, The Best Scottish Weddings and The Scottish Wedding Directory to name but a few. She has designed makeup for L'Oreal and Wella for seminars, shows and photographic shoots. She has worked for many top award winning salons such as Cheynes, Vidal Sassoon, Alan Edwards, Dom Migele, Alison Stewart and many more. Jodi Thomson:

With a career in hairdressing spanning 16 years,10 of which were spent working within a top award winning salon. During this time she worked within the artistic team on photographic shoots for hair publications, fashion shows and seminar demonstrations for L'Oreal. Jodi's talent, experience and professionalism were put into effect when she trained other hair stylists within the salon. Now working freelance, Jodi uses her skills to offer her experience, knowledge and creativity to her clients and bridal parties.

We believe an in depth consultation to be imperative. Using only the highest quality products we will travel to your chosen location, listen, advise and offer any hints and tips with a friendly and relaxed approach. Our philosophy is that not only are we creating a look but it has to be your desired look to compliment you, your colour scheme, dress and wedding theme etc. Communication between hairdresser and makeup artist is paramount as timings have to be considered to enable you to have a relaxed and stress free morning. We like to do our trials together as this allows you to see your complete look and timings can be organised. We are reliable, passionate and committed to our craft. We work well together as a team however we can be booked individually to suit your requirements.
